Brandon Crumb
Woodhouse Senior Home Designer
Brandon Crumb originally got his degree in forestry, but never really found anything to do with it. He did, however, remember a class he took in high school.
“We went through and designed a house from scratch,” Brandon recalls. “I had a blast doing it and my teacher was awesome.”
That memory inspired him to return to college for his architectural degree. When he heard about an opening at Woodhouse, he applied and began working the week after graduation. That was in May 2005.
Design Favorites
Brandon admits that he loves all the Woodhouse timber frame designs and cannot select just one favorite.
“They are all unique in their own way,” Brandon says.
Client Advice
Like his colleagues, Brandon encourages clients to do their homework and bring all types of images, ideas, and sketches. He also advises clients to be aware that the design process can take time to produce custom modifications.
Final Words
“I put client’s ideas and sketches into architectural plans and working drawings,” Brandon says. “It’s something I enjoy. I’ve been drawing from a very young age!”
