Introducing the Bronson V2, a fresh take on one of our most popular timber frame floor plans. Keeping the original Bronson footprint intact, this updated carriage house plan reimagines the living space above the garage for even more long-term comfort and guest flexibility.

The full second floor remains dedicated to the living area, but now features a larger primary bedroom for a year-round resident, plus an added spare bedroom/bunkroom that’s perfect for visiting family and friends, making this plan an ideal companion to a main home, a luxury guest retreat, or a transitional residence during a larger build.

Inside, the kitchen and living area have been expanded with a dine-in peninsula, improved storage, and integrated laundry space, enhancing everyday livability without sacrificing the open, vaulted feel carriage homes are known for.

The timber frame interior showcases dramatic kingpost trusses with graceful curved elements, echoed on the exterior through matching curved gable details, brackets, and embellishments.

Outside, a refined palette of stone, richly stained vertical wood siding, and crisp metal trim elevates the carriage house aesthetic, while decorative lanterns complete the classic, high-end look that pairs beautifully with a primary residence.

Carriage Series

Paying homage to the ever-popular carriage houses of the 19th century, Woodhouse’s Carriage House series takes the homespun charm of a traditional carriage house and merges it with elaborate and elegant design. Each of the designs has two or three ground-floor garages, protected by a steep-pitched roof, with ample apartment living space above them. When you head up the foyer stairs, you’ll be greeted with striking vaulted ceilings and an expansive open floor plan that provides far more space than the exterior alludes to. It’s the perfect addition for your guests to stay in or to serve as a temporary home for you while you build your final timber frame dream home.
