This unique event venue was architecturally developed by Woodhouse® The Timber Frame Company, Mansfield PA. Woodhouse® upholds the philosophy of bettering the environment in three key aspects: Sustainability, Efficiency, and Longevity. Since timber frame buildings use less wood than stick-built structures, they are able to decrease the number of cut trees and increase the sustainability of our forests. Each Woodhouse timber frame is enclosed in the most effective foam-core structural insulating panels, which allow structures to use 30 – 70% less energy. They are dedicated to providing the highest level of satisfaction through the delivery of the most skilled custom timber frame design service, the finest building materials, and the most well-crafted timber frame structures available.
Mr. James F. Ryan, Jr., President of the Columbus Club of Annapolis, Inc., and Mr. Raymond P. Sears, Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Annapolis Council #1384, will break ground at a late-morning ceremony attended by State and Local Fraternal, Business, Civic, Social, and Non-Profit leaders in addition to members of the Knights of Columbus, the community, and the design and project teams.
“Soaring Timbers will add an exciting dimension to hosting unique events in the entire Mid-Atlantic region” Mr. Ryan remarked, “as nature’s beauty abounds both inside and outside.” According to Mr. Sears, “St. John Paul II called the Knights of Columbus ‘The Strong Right Arm of the Church.’ Annapolis Council #1384 is blessed to serve in that role for St. Mary’s Parish and St. John Neumann Church, as The Atreeum at Soaring Timbers will be positioned right next door to St. John Neumann Church on Bestgate Road in Annapolis, MD.” With large and expansive windows and doors, timbers soaring skyward, and open to the ceiling, Soaring Timbers will provide a first-class creative atmosphere that inspires. “We are very much aware of our responsibilities to our faith, our families, our community, and our country.” Mr. Ryan remarks. “It will be a lot of fun meeting that kind of a challenge because it will keep everyone at their creative peak with timbers soaring!”
